Five Big Ten teams ranked in Full Ride Network’s Week 2 Top 25 Poll

The Full Ride Network’s Top 25 Poll for college football’s Week 2 is out and five Big Ten teams are ranked along with another receiving votes.

Michigan held steady at No. 2 following a 30-3 win over East Carolina.

Ohio State fell two spots to No. 5 after a unimpressive 23-3 win at Indiana.

Penn State remained at No. 7 after decisively beating West Virginia 38-15 in Happy Valley.

Wisconsin moved back to No. 21 after falling three spots from the preseason poll. The Badgers beat Buffalo 38-17 in head coach Luke Fickell’s debut in Madison.

Iowa dropped one spot from the preseason poll after a 24-14 win over Utah State at home.

Maryland received votes following a 38-6 win over Towson.

Rutgers will play all six teams this season, starting with No. 2 Michigan in the Big House on Saturday, September 23.

In terms of notable movement, Florida State moved up six spots to No. 4 following an impressive 45-24 win over then No. 4 LSU. The Tigers dropped ten spots in this week’s poll. Clemson dropped ten spots to No. 19 following a 28-7 loss at Duke on Monday night. TCU dropped out completely after a 45-42 home loss to Colorado. Deion Sanders’ team moved into the top 25, debuting at No. 24. They’ll face Big Ten West foe Nebraska this weekend.
