Get ready leading up to kickoff for Rutgers-Temple with all of our coverage from this week.
The availability report was released at t 5:30 p.m. ET (2 hours before kickoff). Here are my quick thoughts, including who is not listed and appears ready to play.
I will also link a post for live commentary and reader comments throughout the Rutgers-Temple game before kickoff here.
There are plenty of storylines entering the first game of the 2023 season for this program, but there are eight that I think are most important.
Here are four predictions for Rutgers vs. Northwestern including my prediction for the game.
There are five players on offense that I think could play bigger roles for Rutgers than they did in the same opener.
Friday’s The Scarlet Faithful podcast focused on the keys to victory for Rutgers against Temple.
The pass offense of Temple vs. the pass defense of Rutgers is what I believe is the key matchup of the game.
There are two former Rutgers assistants who will be coaching for Temple on Saturday
For the offense to take another step forward, these are the things they need to do to get there.
Of course, the offense advancing is heavily reliant on the continued development of quarterback Gavin Wimsatt.
Greg Schiano said at his Tuesday game week press conference that Temple “should have beat us” last year. He also gave player availability updates as well.
Looking at the long term, I think there are five personality traits that this team needs to win six or more games.
The biggest takeaway from the first win is the trust between Gavin Wimsatt, Kirk Ciarrocca, and Greg Schiano.
Rutgers is currently a 9 point favorite over Temple in its second straight home game to kick off the 2023 season.
Let’s GO!!!!!!!
