Get ready for the season opener with all of our coverage on Rutgers-Northwestern leading up to kickoff.
The availability report has been posted by the Big Ten and running back depth has taken a hit.
I have also linked in a running game thread for comments and live commentary throughout Rutgers-Northwestern before kickoff.
I was a guest on WFAN’s Rutgers football preview show with host Jerry Recco and you can listen to here in Part 3 at the 9:18 a.m. mark.
There are plenty of storylines entering the first game of the 2023 season for this program, but there are eight that I think are most important.
Here are four predictions for Rutgers vs. Northwestern including my prediction for the game.
I detailed five first or second year players that could have a major impact against Northwestern here.
David Anderson returned to The Scarlet Faithful podcast to discuss keys to victory for Rutgers in this season opener.
Rutgers has won the first power five matchup of the season three years in a row during head coach Greg Schiano’s second tenure. Can they do it again?
The Scarlet Knights are 3-2 all-time against Northwestern but failed to beat them in both meetings as Big Ten foes. Hopefully, that changes on Sunday.
If you want to listen or watch to my 18 minute season prediction for Rutgers football, have at it here.
Here are three reasons I think Northwestern is a dangerous opponent in this season opener.
Rutgers great and radio color analyst Mike Teel stopped by The Scarlet Faithful podcast this week for a deep dive on the offense among other things.
While Schiano has stated the need for Rutgers to play complementary football in order to win, its the defense that needs to lead the team to victory against Northwestern.
If you wanted to hear me wax poetic on the tone and state of Schiano’s second tenure at Rutgers heading into his fourth season, you are in luck.
The Scarlet Knights might be favored by close to a touchdown, but is the over/under in this game really 40.5?
Our Fred Gaudios has seven things he is looking forward to this season.
At the end of the day against Northwestern and this season, it very well could come down to the play of the offensive line.
Let’s GO!!!!!!!
See you tomorrow🏈
