With the season just over a month from beginning, Rutgers football has announced that its annual Fan Fest will take place on Sunday, August 20. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. outside of the Rodkin Academic Success Center (201 Fitch Road, Piscataway, NJ) on Busch Campus. Free parking is available in the blue, yellow and scarlet lots.
The Scarlet Knights began training camp on Thursday, August 3. Taking time to meet Rutgers fans is a great tradition. There will be a variety of fun activities for fans of all ages to enjoy, including families.
Here is a full list of activities taking place at Fan Fest.
- An official 2023 season poster will be available at the event.
- There is autograph session with all of the players sponsored by the Rutgers collective, Knights of the Raritan.
- The Rutgers Boardwalk, a popular feature while tailgating for home games, will be set up as well.
- A variety of food trucks along with multiple games will be there.
- There is also an inflatable obstacle course for kids.
- A photo booth, face painter and an artist drawing caricatures will be featured as well.
Following Fan Fest, Rutgers fans can head to nearby Yurcak Field to watch the women’s soccer team host Hofstra at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
