Watch Big Ten Coaches Press Conferences from Day 1 of Big Ten Media Days

Day 1 of Big Ten Media Days took place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on Wednesday. Seven head coaches addressed the media at the podium during their respective press conferences.

Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano was one of them and discussed a variety of topics. Hours after naming Gavin Wimsatt as starting quarterback, Schiano also addressed how Northwestern firing longtime head coach Pat Fitzgerald changes how Rutgers will prepare to face them in the season opener.

In addition, other Big Ten East coaches appearing on Wednesday included Michigan State’s Mel Tucker, Penn State’s James Franklin and Ohio State’s Ryan Day. Coaches from the Big Ten West included Illinois’ Bret Beilema, Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz and Northwestern interim head coach David Braun.
