Welcome to episode No. 57 of The Scarlet Faithful podcast. This episode previews the Big Ten Championships for Rutgers Wrestling. Our guest is On3 national desk reporter and Rutgers wrestling play by play announcer for Big Ten Plus, Nick Kosko.
No. 22 Rutgers wrestling will compete in the 2023 Big Ten Wrestling Championships from March 4-5 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Automatic bids for the 2023 NCAA Championships are on the line this weekend, in addition to a Big Ten title.
The first session begins at 10 am on Saturday, March 4 in Crisler Arena airing live on B TN and Big Ten Plus. Session II for Wrestlebacks are at 5:30 p.m. on B1G+ and the Semifinals air live on BTN at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, March 5, the consolation semifinals take place at 1 p.m. on BTN/B1G+. The Championship bouts air live at 4:30 p.m. on BTN while the placement matches air at the same time on B1G+.

125 (9 seed) Dean Peterson 20-7 overall, 5-4 B1G
133 (7 seed) Joe Heilmann 22-6 overall, 2-4 B1G
141 (7 seed) Joe Olivieri 13-4 overall, 5-2 B1G
149 (10 seed) Tony White 12-10 overall, 2-6 B1G
157 (13 seed) Andrew Clark 17-13 overall, 1-9 B1G
165 (12 seed) Robert Kanniard 4-3 overall, 1-2 B1G
174 (10 seed) Jackson Turley 8-10 overall, 2-5 B1G
184 (8 seed) Brian Soldano 18-7 overall, 5-4 B1G
197 (11 seed) Billy Janzer 6-10 overall, 2-5 B1G
HWT (6 seed) Boone McDermott 14-3 overall, 2-1 B1G
