The Scarlet Faithful Forum has launched!

Welcome to The Scarlet Faithful’s NEW feature of our own forum for the Rutgers community. You can join for free and get premium access to news, fun, banter, scoops, and more. We want to build this forum into the #1 place to talk Rutgers sports. Please share the news to help us grow within the Rutgers community. You can access the Forum through section at the top of any page on the site.

The Scarlet Faithful Forum will be a place fans can communicate through game threads in season, share thoughts on a variety of Rutgers topics and more. You can post on forums for basketball, football, Olympic sports and more. I will also be sharing information aside from articles and also pieces of Rutgers news that breaks.

Most importantly, we want this forum feature to be fun, to be a place to share in our love Rutgers and its athletic programs, as well as to celebrate the wins and commiserate over the losses. We want this to be the best online Rutgers community that fans can be proud of. Each of you have a part in making that so.

To kickoff our new Forum section of The Scarlet Faithful, we are doing a promo for a giveaway.

Anyone who replies ON THIS FORUM POST with your favorite Rutgers game (any sport) that you’ve ever attended will be entered in the raffle for a $125 code for the site StockX. They are a site focused on apparel, sneakers, gear and more. The winner will have the code emailed directly. Will announce in a few days.

To be clear, this is all FREE and a compliment to all of the Rutgers related content featured on The Scarlet Faithful. My coverage includes full coverage of all Rutgers athletic programs through articles, features, podcasts and videos. We hope this forum makes you feel even more connected to our site.

I am a bit confused. If I already have an account at the ScarletFaithful do I have to sign up again in this new article? Please forgive an old man who lacks computer savvy for asking this question.

No it’s the same profile you just have to be signed in. Did you try the link? I would follow that and let me know if you run into any issues.

Aaron, thanks for setting up the forum. I commented there and can see the link to the forum on the home page. Once you click on the Forum link at the top, it shows 5 different forums. There are icons for forum, topics, posts and freshness, the latter so you can see when the most recent post was made and who made it. However, I can’t figure out how to see the thread(s)/comments in any of the forums. Well, at least it isn’t obvious to me because when I click on any of the icons it doesn’t take me to a pace where I can see what was said before. I would appreciate any hep. I realize this is just starting up so there will be bugs to correct and changes to make it more user friendly.

You just click on the name of each forum and then click on title for each topic within the forum. Thanks for reading my site and look forward to interacting with you in the forum. I’ll take a look to see if we can make the forums more user friendly. Appreciate any and all feedback and definitely will continue to make tweaks.

Thanks Aaron. As far as improvements, a like button might provide more fan involvement as people enjoy seeing that others respect their comments.
